It concerns a fifty year old guy from the city of Antwerps in Belgium. He was alone visiting Camaguey. He got in trouble with a Cuban girl and her boyfriend chullo who were out on his money. When the man refused to pay he was stabed with a knife.
Later he died of his wounds. More details on the circumstances of the murder can't yet be given. It is not clear if the murderer already has been arrested.
Some scary stuff going on. What with my friend 65, female being mugged in Havana and breaking her elbow when pushed to the ground she still wonders why they simply didn't ask for her bag which she would have given to them as there was only 20 cuc's and a comb in it , Cuba is beginning to have the dubious honour of now joining the rest of the world as no longer a really "safe" place to visit.
